Chris replied to us within a few weeks, right after we had started filming.
He said that he didn't have a problem with us using his track however he didn't publish it so we would have to get in touch with a company called Imagem Production Music in London so that he could grant us the licence to use it, but he didn't believe they would have a problem with it. He went on to send another email to say that if we did use his music and got there permission to make sure that we send him a link to the finished film.
We used my email address but signed it from the both of us, however when replying because it was from my email address they only credited me in the email, we cannot show the other emails due to including personal information.
Immediately after receiving this email, I emailed Imagen Production Music and told them of how I had emailed Chris and he told me to get in touch with them and if it would be possible to use the music. They replied within the hour saying that we could of course use the music and that there would be no licencing fee as it was for school purposes. They also again went on to send another email asking us to send them a link to the finished movie when we were done.
We would like to thank Chris Haigh and Imagem Production Music specifically Gareth Owen for helping to increase the quality of our film by letting them use their music, it is very much appreciated. Thank you for your support.
